Tips for New Mothers
Congratulations! In Chinese medicine, I have emphasized the importance for new mothers to recharge their energy in the first 30 days after birth.
Other tips:
- You must have a total of 8 hours of sleep every night.
- You must not skip meals.
- You must drink plenty of water and not get dehydrated.
- You must keep yourself stress free.
- If you get upset easily, that means you have over drained your energy (that is why you are getting upset).
- Pay attention to your personal hygiene – try not to get infections or catch colds.
- Do not forget to take care of yourself first, then your baby, then your family.
- Take short breaks whenever you can – either do breathing exercises or take short naps.
- Eat or drink a little bit whenever possible.
- Pay attention to any health issues first.
