About Master Yaw-Yau Peter Lee
I have practiced Chinese Medicine for more than 50 years. Under the supervision and training of my father, Dr. Hsu-You Lee, a Master of Chinese Medicine, I have learned a many valuable things about my discipline.
The essence of Chinese Medicine is not only to treat but to prevent illness as well. Why is it that one person suffers illness when their family and friends may not? The wisdom of Chinese Medicine states that a person’s daily basic lifestyle either protects and nourishes or takes a toll on the body, mind and spirit.
In my practice, I focus on the whole person – mind, body and spirit – and can recommend simple, smart changes which can help balance a person’s overall health.

By learning and practicing the fundamentals of Chinese Medicine, clients can learn to control their lives and prevent illness by promoting their own healing power. It is precisely for this reason that I spend at least two hours with each client during his or her first visit. I take a precise history, observe, diagnose and only then teach and treat.
Chinese Medicine focuses more on prevention rather than mere treatment of symptoms. Because my treatments focus both on a client’s overall wellbeing, the contributing factors to disease as well as treating immediate symptoms, the client recovers more quickly and completely – from the inside-out.
On average, clients typically obtain good results after six treatments. These results depend, in part, due to their willingness to take charge of their own health.
The concept is simple. Teamwork between the Chinese Medicine practitioner and the client is invaluable.
