Tips for Proper Sleep
It is very important to properly prepare for sleep each night.
- First, try to avoid taking any sleeping pills or vitamins — they may affect your sleep.
- Second, 45 minutes before bed time, soak your feet in warm to hot water for 10-15 minutes.
- Third, before you lay down, write down all of tomorrow’s events in a notebook.
- Fourth, when you lay down, practice 10-15 minutes of Chinese Qi-Con breathing (breathing from your diaphram). While breathing, observe which part of your body is tense and try to gradually relax it.
If you establish this same sleep pattern every night, your quality of sleep will be better and you will wake up refreshed.
